Discreet foundation – unexpected color change

Amber Mirage doesn't show its full color until it starts moving

The base color consists of transparent honey, amber and light cognac. This gives NED-Stick a warm and translucent profile that is influenced by ambient light, the bottom and the watercolor.

An amethyst purple core runs through the body. When the bait is still, it is perceived as a darker depth of color. When the body is turned, the purple tone comes closer to the surface and changes the entire expression of the bait.

Small green, turquoise and violet reflections break through along the ribs. The effect is short flashes of color instead of a smooth and exaggerated glitter surface.

Designed for a limited edition

Amber Mirage is produced in a limited batch and is not part of the fixed color range. When the current batch is sold out, the product will be removed from the store. The next production is not guaranteed.

Softer than a solid brown color, the transparent amber base gives a less compact body when the fish sees the bait up close.

More color depth than regular motor oil. The amethyst purple core provides a clearer dark line and changes color when the body is turned.

Flash without harsh glitter effect The prismatic particles are visible for brief moments instead of dominating the entire presentation.

A different alternative to pressed water. The color combination differs from the usual green, brown and full violet NED colors.

When Amber Mirage is at its best

Choose it when the fish can see details but do not want a harsh color signal

Clear water The transparent body gives a soft profile when the fish has good visibility and can examine the bait for a long time.

Lightly colored water The amber tone retains warmth while the purple core gives the body a clearer depth of color.

Alternating cloudiness The reflections light up and dim as the bait moves between direct light and shaded areas.

Stone, gravel and sand The warm and translucent base color fits well over natural and brighter bottom environments.

Pressed fishing spots A relevant bait when green pumpkin, motor oil and regular brown tones are used by many fishermen.

Start softly but not anonymously. A strong first test in clear water where you want to combine natural ground with limited flash.

How to place Amber Mirage in the color selection

Clear water

Main area of color Fish slowly and let the transparent body, core and small reflectors work close to the fish.

Lightly colored water

Maintains color depth The amethyst purple core helps the body maintain a clearer line when visibility deteriorates slightly.

Cloudy water

Not the first choice In very low visibility, a darker silhouette or a clearer signal color often gives a more prominent presentation.

Fishing Amber Mirage

Small changes in angle show more of the color than large movements

Amber Mirage does not need to be fished quickly. The color is most useful when the body is allowed to roll, fall and change angle to the light.

Short bottom lifts: lift the bait a few centimeters and let the body roll back towards the bottom.

Small shakes: hold DOWN-Stick within a small area and let the purple core switch sides.

Controlled falls: maintain light contact with the rope so that the body can change angle without falling rigidly.

Slow trolling: drag the bait over rocks, gravel and hard bottom with frequent stops.

Longer pauses: let the transparent body rest before the next movement ignites the reflexes again.

Recommended rigging

Choose a rig that allows the body to fall and change angles

DOWN-head For bottom contact, short lifts and slow presentations over rock, gravel and hard bottom.

Dropshot To keep the bait above the bottom and create small color changes without much movement.

Light jig head For controlled falls and slow retrieves along edges, rocks and sparse vegetation.

Weedless DOWN For fishing around branches, vegetation and structure where a more protected hook placement is better suited.
