DOWN-Stick Cinderwood

A glowing orange-brown core surrounded by dark mahogany tones – designed for bottom fishing where natural profile and color signal need to work together.

Dark as burnt wood. Warm as embers under the ashes.
Natural color and trigger color in the same bait

Cinderwood changes depending on how the NED-Stick is positioned in the water

The warm orange-brown part lets light through and gives the bait a vibrant, rusty red tone. The dark mahogany fields create a heavier and more cohesive profile from other angles.

As the body falls, rolls or shakes near the bottom, the bait alternates between glowing orange and dark brown, providing more visual change than a completely solid color NED jig.

Temporary color scheme outside the standard range

Cinderwood is produced in a limited batch for this Limited Edition. When the current batch is sold out, the color will be removed from the store. The next production is not guaranteed.

The Cinderwood Effect

A dark bottom profile with a warm signal below the surface

The color division gives NED-Stick different expressions depending on the angle of the bait, depth and ambient light.

Cinder core

Glowing orange-brown

The warm and slightly transparent base tone gives the bait color presence without feeling like an all-encompassing signal jig.

Charred shadow

Dark mahogany profile

The dark areas create visual weight and give the body a clearer profile against the lighter bottom and open water.

Color change

Two expressions in motion

The bait goes from dark and compact to warm and permeable when twisted during falls, lifts and shakes.

Looks like part of the bottom. Until the glowing side is turned towards the fish.

That's why Cinderwood belongs in the box

For fishing between discreet natural color and clear trigger signal

More distinct than regular green pumpkin. The orange part adds more color and warmth when regular brown-green natural colors feel too cautious.
Softer than pure orange The dark fields dampen the signal tone and make the presentation less one-sided.
Color change with small movements Even gentle lifting and shaking changes which part of the color is displayed.
Adapted for bottom fishing The earthy color scheme fits naturally around rocks, gravel, wood and vegetation.
When Cinderwood is at its best

Choose it when the bottom is natural but the water requires more color

Rock, gravel and hard bottom The brown and rusty red tones provide a suitable profile near hard bottom environments.
Humus-colored water The orange side adds warmth while the dark color shift maintains a unified profile.
Slightly cloudy water The color separation gives a clearer visual expression than a uniformly brown, transparent body.
Wood and dark structure Fish around branches, pier posts, fallen trees and shaded edges.
Cloudy and changing light The dark side maintains the profile and the orange side appears when the light hits it right.
When the fish want something warm. A relevant bait when cold silver, blue or green tones do not respond.
Quick color guide

When are you going to start Cinderwood?

Clear water
Good around natural bottoms. Fish slowly around rocks, gravel and wood. Let the dark areas dominate the presentation.
Lightly colored water
The main area of the color Here you benefit from both the dark profile and the warm orange color break.
Cloudier water
Fish close and methodically Work close to the bottom and structure. In very low visibility, an even sharper signal tone may be a better first choice.
Fishing Cinderwood

Use the motion to switch between dark and glowing

The color works best when the NED-Stick is allowed to change angle. You don't need to move the bait far. Small movements are enough for the orange side to appear and then disappear behind the dark profile.

Short bottom lifts: lift the bait gently and let the color split roll through the presentation.
Slow drag: move the bait along rocks, gravel and wood with frequent stops.
Controlled falls: let the orange side catch light as the body changes angle on the way down.
Long pauses: leave the dark profile in place when the fish follows but does not take immediately.
Recommended rigging

Adapt the presentation to the bottom and the position of the fish

DOWN-head For stable bottom contact, short movements and pauses around rocks and gravel.
Dropshot To keep the color shift above the bottom and work in the same spot close to structure.
Light jig head For slow retrieves and controlled falls along edges and vegetation.
