NED-Stick White Candy

Transparent exterior, pearly white core and green/purple candy glitter – built to give the fish a clear target point without the entire bait feeling heavy and opaque.

Crystal clear on the outside. White and clear where it counts.
Two profiles in the same bait

White Candy combines transparency with a stable white finish

A completely transparent bait can become too anonymous when the light is dimmed, the bottom becomes uneven or the fish is standing some distance from the presentation. A completely white bait can instead give a harder and more compact expression.

White Candy sits right in between. The transparent outer layer allows the bait to be influenced by the water and its surroundings, while the white core creates a clear line through the entire body.

Green and purple glitter breaks up the bright core with small reflections. The effect is mainly visible when the bait moves, changes angle or rolls back towards the bottom.

Made in a limited batch

White Candy is a temporary colorway outside of the regular range. The product is available as long as the current Limited Edition batch is available. Once the batch is sold out, the color will be removed from the store and future production cannot be guaranteed.

The White Candy effect

Three visual layers that work in different ways

The transparent shell softens the presentation. The white core holds the silhouette together. The glitter adds movement and color change.

Crystal shell

Transparent outer layer

The transparent exterior provides a softer edge around the body and allows light, bottom and water color to influence the bait's expression.

Pearl core

Pearly white core

The white core creates a coherent light line through the bait and prevents the transparent body from disappearing completely.

Candy flash

Green and purple glitter

Small glitter particles send out separate green and violet reflections as the ribs change angle to the light.

Soft transparency when the fish is examining. White core when the presentation must be visible.

Why color deserves a place in the box

White Candy solves the problem between too discreet and too sharp

The problem

Completely transparent may be too weak

A transparent bait provides a discreet profile, but can lose its clarity against light rock, uneven bottom or when visibility deteriorates.

The solution

A white core inside the transparency

White Candy retains the soft outer profile but places a stable, bright target image in the middle of the body.

Same bait – different strengths

An advanced coloring tool that's still easy to use

For the experienced angler

A controlled contrast choice

White Candy fits into the color rotation between transparent natural colors and opaque white. You can increase visibility without immediately switching to chartreuse, all-white or a dark silhouette.

Pressed fish: a more unusual combination that doesn't look like the more common natural colors of the bait box.
Color rotation: use it when transparent colors gain followers but lack a clear target point.
Alternating light: the core holds the profile together while the sparkle changes between sun and shadow.
For those of you who are new to NED rigs

A color choice that is easy to understand

You don't need to be able to interpret every bottom or light condition. Start with White Candy in clear or slightly colored water and fish slowly close to the bottom.

Easy start: mount it straight onto a suitable NED skull.
The right pace: short lifts, slow drag and clear pauses are enough.
Simple rule: choose it when you want a light bait that still feels soft and natural.
When White Candy is at its best

Start with it when the fish sees the bait clearly but is still cautious

Clear water The transparent shell provides a softer contour when the fish has good visibility and can examine the presentation up close.
Lightly colored water The white core helps the body maintain a clear centerline as the water obscures the transparent outer layer.
Variable cloudiness The glitter lights up in direct light and dims in shadow, while the white core continues to hold the profile together.
Stone, gravel and sand The clean color combination stands out from the bottom without creating the same heavy silhouette as a dark bait.
Piers and shadow boundaries Fish from lighter water towards the shadow and let the white core create a stable target image.
Heavily fished areas An alternative when green pumpkin, motor oil and dark standard colors have been presented many times.
Color rotation by the water

How to use White Candy as a deliberate color change

After a transparent color
Keep the softness – add a target point When the fish follows but does not bite, the white core provides a clearer center line without covering the entire body.
After a dark color
Switch from silhouette to light White Candy gives the fish a cleaner and brighter presentation when black, brown or dark green feels too compact.
As the first finesse color
Start neutral but visible A logical first choice when you are unsure and fishing in clear to slightly colored water with a light or neutral bottom.
Recommended rigging

A NED-Stick that can do more than just stand on a jig head

DOWN Skull For bottom contact, short lifts and long pauses. Use the lightest weight that still lets you feel the bottom.
Dropshot To keep the bait above the bottom and let the core and glitter work with small movements in the same place.
Weedless DOWN For grass, branches and other structure where a more protected hook placement reduces the risk of getting caught.
Wacky rig Gives the bait a different falling motion where both ends can move and show the glitter from multiple angles.
Shaky head For slow bottom presentation where the body is allowed to shake and change angle without being moved far.
Carolina rig For searching larger areas over gravel, rocks and transitions between hard and soft bottom.
Fishing White Candy

Leave the bait longer than you first think.

White Candy doesn't need to be picked up quickly. The strength of the color lies in small movements where the transparent shell, white core and glitter alternate between rest and reflex.

Short lifts: lift the bait a few centimeters and let it fall back with light line tension.
Small shakes: keep the bait close to the same spot and let the ribs and glitter change angle.
Slow drag: drag the bait across the bottom and stop when it hits rock, gravel or other structure.
Long pause: give the fish time to come forward and examine the white core through the transparent outer layer.
Temperature change: test slowly at first. Then increase the pace with two short lifts followed by another break.
The right color at the right time

Not a miracle color.
A well-thought-out middle ground.

White Candy is not the first choice in very turbid water, total darkness or over a bottom where a hard black silhouette is needed. There a darker or stronger signal color can give a clearer profile.

The strength of the color is found in clear to slightly colored water where the fish see details but still need a clear target point.

Add the NED color that combines clarity, contrast and controlled flash

White Candy gives you a transparent and flexible outer layer, a clear pearly white core and green/purple glitter for fishing situations where regular natural colors feel too anonymous but strong signal colors are too harsh.
