Copper Venom adapts its expression to light, background and angle

The darker olive green back gives the Rocket Bug a deep and cohesive profile. Along the sides the color transitions to a lighter yellow-green tone that lets more light through and makes the body less compact.

The wide paddles are thinner and more transparent. When they open, the poison green tone and copper-colored glitter flakes appear more clearly than in the thicker body.

Copper Venom has been developed for this limited edition Rocket Bug. The color is available while the current batch lasts. Once the batch is sold out, the product will be removed from the store and the next production is not guaranteed.

More visible than regular green pumpkin. The light underside and paddles provide a clearer break in color when the watercolor dampens discreet natural tones.
Softer than full chartreuse. The dark back maintains a more natural head profile and prevents the bait from being perceived as completely signal-heavy.
Copper flash instead of cold glitter. The warm reflections match the olive green base of the color and become clear when the ribs change angle.
Built around vegetation Green paint layers provide a cohesive profile around reeds, water lilies, underwater grass and plant edges.

Compact body at the front – wide and lively movement at the back

The ribbed body gives the bait volume and multiple light angles. Behind the body, two wide paddles work to enhance the profile and show more of the transparent yellow-green color.

Start with it around green environments and in water with light color

Vegetation edges Work along reeds, water lilies, underwater grass and openings where perch are lurking.
Clear to slightly colored water The olive green body maintains a calm profile while the lighter underside provides extra visibility.
Humus-colored lakes The yellow-green paddles and warm copper reflections are more clearly expressed in browner water.
Sun and variable cloudiness Direct light activates the glitter while the darker back maintains the body's shape in shadows.
Rock and wood near vegetation. Fish where hard structure meets grass, reeds, branches or other vegetation.
When the natural color becomes too anonymous Switch to Copper Venom when green pumpkin works almost right but needs more luster and color separation.

How to place Copper Venom in the color selection

Clear water
Fish close to vegetation. Work slowly and let the olive green body dominate the presentation.
Lightly colored water

Cloudier water
Fish close to the fish Place the bait close to structure. In very low visibility a stronger solid color signal profile may be a better first test.

Choose rig according to vegetation, depth and desired drop

Texas rig For fishing around reeds, grass, wood and other structure where a more protected hook placement is needed.

Fishing Copper Venom

Let the paddles alternate between rest and poisonous green movement

The Rocket Bug doesn't need to be fished fast. The color change becomes apparent when the paddles go from folded to open, showing more of the bright, transparent plastic.

Short bottom lifts: lift your body gently and let the paddles open during the fall.
Slow drag: drag the bait along grass borders and hard bottom with frequent stops.
Controlled falls: maintain light contact with the line and allow the copper glitter to change angle during the sinking phase.
Pitch towards pockets: place the bait in openings between reeds, grass, water lilies and branches.
Pause longer: let the olive green body rest before the next movement shows the poison green paddle profile.
