Acid Lemmon is the color of choice when a discreet NED isn't enough. It's made for murky water, overcast weather, deeper edges and situations where the fish need to find the bait quickly - without you having to step up to a bigger or more aggressive bait.

Why Acid Lemon Should Be in the Box

When visibility is poor, the fish must be able to locate the bait before they can make up their mind. Acid Lemmon gives the NED-Stick a clear visual signal, but retains the same small, bottom-facing finesse profile that makes the NED rig so effective on sluggish fish.

This is not the color to blend in. It is the color to be visible just enough when natural tones disappear against the bottom, humus or turbidity.

Problem The fish stands there, but cannot find or reacts too late to dark and natural colors.
Solution A high-visibility color on a small, controllable profile that can be fished slowly.
Buy it to cover murky water, overcast days and situations where the bait needs to be immediately visible.

Quick choice by the water

  • Best when the water is murky, visibility is short or the sky is dark and low in contrast.
  • Species Perch when hunting short windows, pike-perch when you want to get a clear signal near the bottom.
  • Bottom Mud, dark bottom, deep edges, jetties, vegetation and areas with humus-colored water.
  • First, avoid extremely clear water with shy fish in bright sunlight – then it's better to start with a more natural color.

This is how you fish it

  1. Cast towards bottom contact: edges, holes, piers, grass pockets or darker spots.
  2. Let Acid Lemon show. Lift briefly and let the color work in the pauses.
  3. Fish slowly, but with more distinct stops. The fish should have time to find the bait and make a decision.
  4. If you get followers but no bites: shorten the lift and let the bait stay on the bottom longer.

Color logic

Underwater, light, contrast and color perception decrease with depth, distance and particles in the water, so a strong yellow-green signal becomes especially useful when visibility is poor and the fish need help finding a small presentation.

Acid Lemmon acts as a visual shortcut: more visible than natural tones, but still in a small NED format that doesn't exaggerate the size of the prey.
