Black/Orange UV combines two things that sell strikes in difficult situations: dark shape and clear attack point. It is created for murky water, twilight, vegetation and bottom conditions where fish need both silhouette and trigger.

Why Black/Orange UV should be in the box

A black silhouette helps the fish find the bait. The orange/UV element gives something to lock onto when the bait is stationary or moving briefly over the bottom.

This makes the color especially sharp when a pure dark color is visible but does not trigger the final decision.

Problem The fish finds the bait but needs a clearer point to attack.
Solution Contrast body with orange signal that reinforces the decision near the bottom.
Buy it to cover twilight, murky water, and more aggressive NED windows.

Quick choice by the water

  • Best when turbid water, evening, overcast weather, vegetation and brown/humus-colored lakes.
  • Species Perch around cover, pike-perch in weaker light and near-bottom presentation.
  • Bottom Grass, mud, dark bottom, jetties, stone edges and shady areas.
  • First, avoid very clear water with strong sun and extremely cautious fish.

This is how you fish it

  1. Search for grass pockets, jetties and dark bottom areas.
  2. Work with short lifts so the attack point flashes but doesn't rush away.
  3. Pause after each contact – the bite often comes when the bait stops.
  4. Switch to this when Black and Blue is visible but feels too static.

Color logic

In poor visibility, contrast helps the fish spot the bait. A stronger color dot can then act as a visual focal point when the fish is aiming to strike.

Black/Orange UV is therefore not just a strong color – it is a combination of silhouette and decision point.
