Why First Responders Should Be in the Box
Sometimes the biggest question isn't what natural color the fish will accept, but whether the fish will react at all. First Responders is designed to provide a clearer answer.
It makes the NED-Stick more visible and more provocative, but maintains the small profile that works on sluggish fish.
Problem You are not getting a response and need to quickly know if a stronger signal is triggering fish.
Solution A clearer color profile that makes the bait easier to detect and react to.
Buy it to have a quick test bait for murky water, clouds and short fishing windows.
Quick choice by the water
- Best when overcast, cloudy, low visibility, active fish and situations where you are looking for a response.
- Species Perch at short cutting windows, pike-perch in weaker light near the bottom.
- Bottom Edges, jetties, rocks, grass pockets and darker bottom.
- First, avoid super clear water and heavy fishing pressure where fish already shy away from strong colors.
This is how you fish it
- Start with it when visibility is poor or the fish need to find the bait quickly.
- Fish something more actively first to test the response.
- If the fish follows but doesn't take: slow down and extend the pauses.
- Switch down to natural if the signal seems too strong.
Color logic
In murky water and low light, small baits lose visibility. A brighter color can improve detection without increasing the size of the bait.
First Responders fill exactly that role: visibility first, finesse profile remaining.
CNW Recommendation Use this as your first test when you don't know if the fish are active. It provides quick information and can create quick bites.
