In many lakes the water is neither clear nor cloudy – it is tea-colored, shifting and difficult to read. Motoroil Changeable is built for that very zone.
It can appear natural in one light and more contrasting in another, making it extremely useful when conditions change throughout the day.

Quick choice by the water
- Best when there is humus water, alternating clouds/sun, deep edges and mixed bottoms.
- Species Perch in most waters, pike perch where motor oil tones work close to the bottom.
- Bottom Stone, gravel, mud, diving edges, vegetation and transitions.
- First, avoid extremely clear water with shy fish or extremely cloudy water where neon is needed.
This is how you fish it
- Start with it when the watercolor is difficult to read.
- Fish edges and transitions where the light changes.
- Vary the pauses before changing colors.
- If the fish takes short: keep the bait on the bottom longer.
Color logic
Colour-shifting motor oil tones are clearly affected by light and background, allowing the bait to have different contrasts at different angles and depths.
