Brown/purple contrast for stone, humus and pressed fish.

PB&J is a classic concept of finesse: brown naturalness meets purple contrast. On NED-Stick it becomes strong when the fish is close to the bottom in humus, stone and slightly colored water.

Why PB&J should be in the box

Brown tones feel natural against the bottom. The purple part provides a soft contrast that helps the bait stand out when completely natural colors become too anonymous.

That makes PB&J a very stable middle ground between Cinnamon and darker contrasting colors.

Problem You need more contrast than brown natural color but less hardness than black.
Solution Brown/purple profile that combines bottom feel with visibility.
Buy it to cover humus, stone and difficult-to-read water with a smart finesse color.

Quick choice by the water

  • Best when humus, slightly colored water, rock/gravel, clouds and pressed perch.
  • Species Perch on the bottom, pike perch on slow presentation in colored water.
  • Bottom Rock, gravel, sand, mud and vegetation transitions.
  • First, avoid very clear water with shy fish if the purple tone feels too obvious.

This is how you fish it

  1. Fish it on bottom crossings where the fish are looking for food.
  2. Use small strokes and long pauses.
  3. Switch to PB&J when Cinnamon gets too little attention.
  4. Go darker if visibility gets worse.

Color logic

The combination of natural brown and purple contrast makes the bait visible without being garish. It is a useful spectrum in colored Nordic waters.

PB&J is therefore one of the smartest compromise colors.

CNW Recommendation Put PB&J between Cinnamon and JuneBug in the box. That's exactly where it's most useful.
