Why 24K should be in the box

The Rocket Bug is built to be seen and felt close to the bottom: the body, legs and profile provide vibration and presence even when fishing slowly.

24K adds warm reflection. This makes the color strong when fish need to find the bait in colored water but still accepts a natural, bottom-feeding profile.

Quick choice by the water

• Best when there is humus water, low sun, overcast weather, rocks/gravel, grass pockets and active perch.
• Species Perch around structure, pike perch on bottom rigging and slow presentation.
• Water Rocks, gravel, vegetation, jetties, dark coves and hard bottom with shade.
• First, avoid super clear shallow water with extremely shy fish where the gold tone may become too pronounced.

This is how you fish it

1. Fish 24K on Texas, Carolina or light jig heads along structure.
2. Let the bait hit the bottom and pause so the profile remains.
3. Use short lifts – it should look like light food, not panic flight.
4. Switch to more natural if the fish follows but does not finish.

Color logic

Warm gold tones can create visible light breaks in humus and low sun. In combination with the creature profile, the fish gets both a visual signal and a bottom-close shape.

24K is therefore a signal choice for structure, not just a shiny color.
