Swedish sport fishing brand Built for anglers who want to understand why fish bite
CNW Baits is for those who don't want to buy soft baits on a whim. We build our range around situations: bottom contact, small fish hunting, sluggish perch, pike perch on the edge, vegetation, hard bottom and those days when the fish follow but don't take.
Our idea is simple: a bait should have a job. It should solve a real problem at the water. Otherwise, it has no place in the box.
Function first. Baits should be chosen according to species, water, bottom, rig and presentation.
Hand-cast feel Soft baits where small variations can be a natural part of the process.
Nordic waters Focus on perch, pike-perch and predator fishing in Swedish and Nordic conditions.
Knowledge sells right. The guides will help you buy smarter, not just buy more.
CNW Baits exists because sport fishing is not guesswork
Many baits are sold as if the color alone is the solution. But on the water, it doesn't work that way. The fish react to a whole: where the bait is presented, how it falls, how long it stays in the zone, how the silhouette is visible, what the bottom looks like and how much energy the fish needs to put into taking it.
That's why we build CNW Baits around fishing situations instead of empty hype. A bait for sluggish bottom-dwelling perch won't do the same job as a bait for small-fish hunting walleye. A creature bait in vegetation shouldn't be chosen for the same reason as a slim finesse bait in clear water.
You shouldn't have to buy ten random baits to hope for the right one. You should be able to understand which bait will solve the situation.
Our principles
1. Every bait should have a role
NED-Stick should solve slow bottom presentation. Bleaky Slim should solve small fish profile. Rocket Bug should solve compact structure presentation. The range should be a toolbox, not a chaos of colors.
2. Knowledge before exaggeration
We don't promise magical catches. No serious angler should do that. However, the right bait in the right situation can give you much better odds.
3. Premium without being plasticky
Premium is not about exaggerated colors or empty words. It's about feel, function, presentation, trust and products that fit real waters.
This is how we think when a bait finds a place in the range
A soft bait has to earn its place. It's not enough that it looks good in a picture. It should be able to be linked to a clear fishing situation and a clear reason to use it.
Situation What problem does the bait solve: sluggish fish, bottom, small fish hunting, vegetation or structure?
Profile Should the fish look like a minnow, crayfish, worm, leech, creature or something compact and easy to take?
Presentation Does it work best with NED, Texas, Carolina, jig head, drop shot or slow retrieve?
Decision Does the bait have a clear role in the box? Then it's interesting. Otherwise, it's just more plastic.
This is the essence: we want the customer to understand why a bait is needed before the customer buys it. Then the purchase will be smarter and the fishing will be better.
Choose bait according to the job it will do
Here is the practical map of how we want the range to be used. Start with the situation. Then choose the bait.
Bottom finesse NED-Stick For sluggish perch and zander that need small movements, long pauses and maximum time in the bite zone. Shop NED-Stick Small fish profile Bleaky Slim For predators that hunt slim baitfish. Relevant for wind edges, bait schools, clear water and active fish. See Bleaky Slim Slow finesse Slinky For following fish, colder water and days when the movement needs to be less threatening. See Slinky Pill and precision Rib Leech For drop shot, Carolina, bottom finesse and situations where small movements make big jerks. See Rib Leech Crayfish and hard bottom Nemo Craw For rock, gravel, hard bottom and slow bottom presentation where the fish pick food close to the bottom. See Nemo Craw Structure and Texas Rocket Bug Compact creature bait for grass, rock, jetties, reed pockets and places where the rig has to come through. See Rocket Bug Larger target image Knuckle Dragger For Texas, Carolina and heavier structure presentation when you want to show more body and seek better fish. See Knuckle Dragger Creature and silhouette Crazy Hog For larger silhouette, hog profile and days when you want to give the fish a clearer bottom change. See Crazy Hog Hand-cast means feel, control and natural variations
Hand-cast soft baits are not the same as mass-produced perfection in clinical form. Minor variations in color, glitter, finish, layering and batch may occur. For us, this is not automatically a weakness. It is part of the craft.
The important thing is that the bait works in the water: profile, softness, presentation, visibility and how it behaves on the rig. The fish does not judge the product under store lights. It encounters the bait in water, light, movement and situation.
| What the customer sees | What it means | How we think |
|---|
| Minor color differences between batches | Can occur with hand-cast soft baits. | The focus is on function, overall impression and use in the right water. |
| Glitter and pigments may vary slightly | Materials, light and casting affect the end result. | It should still feel well thought out, fishable and relevant. |
| The bait looks different in water than in the hand | Light, depth, humus, turbidity and the bottom change the experience. | That's why the guides focus on the situation, not just the product image. |
The right expectation: the hand cast should feel alive and functional. Perfect fishing is not about every bait looking identical under the kitchen lamp.
CNW Baits is also a knowledge bank
We don't just want to sell you a package of baits. We want to help you understand when to use them. That's why we build guides for perch, walleye, NED Rig, Texas Rig, Carolina Rig and other fishing situations.
For those who want to get more hits
Read the guides when you want to understand color selection, bottom contact, wind, light, depth, presentation and rigging. It will make your next purchase more accurate.
For those who want to show what works
Catch reports show how baits work in real situations. There we collect methods, species, rigs and lessons learned from real fishing trips.
Trust, service and clear terms and conditions
A premium feel isn't just about products. It's also about how the store behaves. The customer should be able to find contact information, terms and conditions, delivery information, returns, complaints and policies without having to search.

Responsible sport fishing
CNW Baits is built for anglers. That also means respecting the water, the rules, the fish and other anglers. Always check local fishing regulations before fishing.
Rules may differ between lakes, rivers, coastal areas, fisheries conservation areas and seasons. There may be requirements for fishing licenses, closed periods, minimum sizes, maximum sizes, number of fish, gear and special areas.
Handle fish with care, especially if releasing them. Use equipment that is appropriate for the fish and the situation.
Build a smarter bait box
Don't start with everything. Start with the roles you need: a bottom bait, a small fish profile, a finesse bait and a creature bait. This will cover more real situations with fewer chances.
Read the guides, choose by water and build your box with baits that actually do a job.
